Sunday November 5 - Friday November 10 Tennessee Adventure Nashville and Pigeon Forge featuring the  CMA Awards Show .  $1629 per person (double occupancy), $1589 per person (triple occupancy), $1549 per person (quad occupancy), $1989 per person (single occupancy). Deposit is $150 per person with balance due by October 1, 2017. Bus departures from Greencastle and Hagerstown

Be a part of the CMA Awards Country Music's Biggest Night. The CMA Awards nominees and winners are determined by the more than 6,300 industry professional members of CMA, which when established in 1958 became the first trade organization formed to promote an individual genre of music. The first CMA Awards Banquet and Show was held in 1967. The following year, the CMA Awards was broadcast on NBC television for the first time – making it the longest running, annual music awards program on network television.

NOTE: CMA & ABC haven’t finalized the date of the CMA Show yet and that it could change to November 1, they have listed November 8 as probable date that is subject to change. If show date changes we will change date of trip accordingly.

Our package includes:

Day 1 – Sunday, November 5

                Depart Greencastle and Hagerstown for Pigeon Forge.

                Arrive Pigeon Forge. Meet our local representative and check-in: Country Cascades 204 Sharon Drive

7:15 p.m.           Seating for dinner.

8:00 p.m.           Howdy! Welcome to the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Show. You are just in time for the big ole barn dance tonight and boy, is it gonna be a wild one. Seems somehow someone invited BOTH the Hatfield’s AND the McCoy’s to the party! Everyone knows just how well those two families mix, so you might be able to guess just how busy our newly elected sheriff is gonna fair in the next few hours. But don’t you despair though because Granny’s got a secret plan to bring order to the occasion. She has just whipped up one of her famous feasts complete with fried chicken, pulled pork bbq, mashed taters, corn on the cob, slaw and a good deal more. No one can resist her cooking and, if all goes according to plan, the feuding folks will be too darn full to do anything but sit back and enjoy the toe tappin’ music we got lined up.

 

Day 2 – Monday, November 6

6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.     Deluxe continental breakfast included at hotel.

8:00 a.m.            Depart Pigeon Forge for Nashville (gain 1 hour Central Time Zone).

11:00 a.m.           Arrive Nashville. Meet our local representative and drop bags at: Millennium Maxwell House                                                   

12:00 p.m.           Free time for shopping, etc. with lunch on own at Opry Mills, Tennessee's premier shopping destination. Opry Mills is a bargain shopper’s paradise with more than 200 manufacturer outlets, off-price retailers and unique specialty stores, including 20 movie screens, Regal IMAX® Theatre and Bass Pro Shop. With more than 1.2 million square feet of shopping, dining and “Shoppertainment”, you could easily spend an entire day here.

3:00 p.m.           Return to hotel to check-in.

5:00 p.m.           Dinner included at hotel.

6:00 p.m.           Following dinner, we’ll be joined by a successful local songwriter. He’ll play some of the hit songs he’s written and answer questions about the recording industry.

 

Day 3 – Tuesday, November 7

6:30 a.m. –   9:00 a.m.   Full breakfast buffet included at your leisure at Praline’s Restaurant (inside the hotel) with vouchers.

9:00 a.m.            Professional guided city tour of Nashville, to include a self-guided tour of the historic Ryman Auditorium.

                Admission included to the Ryman Auditorium for a self-guided tour. Ryman Auditorium is a National Historic Landmark and must see for anyone visiting Nashville. Most famous as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943-1974, its history as Nashville’s premier theater and central gathering place started even before construction was complete in 1892. You’ll discover the divine inspiration behind the building’s construction as the Union Gospel Tabernacle in the 1880’s in our welcome video. Explore its rich entertainment history and how the Ryman became known as the “Carnegie Hall of South”, “Mother Church of Country Music”, and “Birthplace of Bluegrass”.

                Free afternoon for shopping, etc. with lunch on own.

4:45 p.m.           Dinner included at BB King’s.

7:00 p.m.           Experience the Grand Ole Opry – Nashville’s must-see attraction and the world’s longest running live radio show. As the home of country music, the Opry offers an incredible mix of talent to create an American experience like no other! And, in November and December, the Opry returns to its most famous home, the Ryman Auditorium!

Day 4 – Wednesday, November 8

6:30 a.m. –   8:30 a.m.   Full breakfast buffet included at your leisure at Praline’s Restaurant (inside the hotel) with vouchers.

8:30 a.m.            Depart for Studio B.

9:00 a.m.            Be a Star for a Day! The star treatment is what Nashville does best, and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum brings it all together in this very unique package offering. Your group begins with a personally guided tour of historic RCA Studio B, Home of 1,000 Hits, where music legends recorded timeless songs. They’ll be inspired during their own recording session directed by a sound engineer right where Elvis himself stood to record over 200 songs.

10:30 a.m.           Admission included to the Country Music Hall of Fame, where you can hear rare recordings of country’s legendary performers, see behind-the-scenes films by today’s stars, along with costumes, instruments and personal treasures from country music’s past and present.

12:30 p.m.           Lunch included at the Wildhorse Saloon.

                Free afternoon for shopping, etc.

                Return to hotel to freshen up.

4:45 p.m.           Dinner included at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville.

7:00 p.m.           Reserved upper level seats to the CMA Awards show at the Bridgestone Arena.

 

Day 5 – Thursday, November 9

6:30 a.m. –   8:00 a.m.   Full breakfast buffet included at your leisure at Praline’s Restaurant (inside the hotel) with vouchers.

8:00 a.m.            Depart Nashville for Pigeon Forge (lose 1 hour Eastern Time Zone) with lunch stop on own en route.

1:30 p.m.           Arrive Pigeon Forge. Meet our local representative and check-in: Country Cascades.

3:00 p.m.             SHOW: Country Tonite – offers a new show every year featuring the same high-energy, excitement and entertainment that typify every performance including singing, dancing, comedy, patriotic, gospel, and more. The tradition of excellence continues with the exciting new breed of contemporary country. This show has something for everyone!

5:45 p.m.           Dinner included at Applewood Farmhouse.

8:00 p.m.     CHRISTMAS SHOW: Music Mansion. The Music Mansion is “more than just a show”! This multi-million dollar show is the area’s ultimate musical variety show featuring the most talented cast of singers, dancers, comedians, aerialists, and musicians in the Smoky Mountains.

 

Day 6 – Friday, November 10

6:30 a.m. –   8:00 a.m.   Deluxe continental breakfast included at hotel.

                Depart for home with rest stops andlunch stop enroute.
